Job title: Research Scholar
Job Description:
· Support multiple retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) research projects by performing data collection and data entry, managing study databases, and supporting and performing data analysis (with the support of a statistician).
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of pediatric ophthalmologists, retina specialists, neonatologists, ophthalmic imagers, and statisticians in support of research studies on ROP.
· Participate in weekly lab meetings with the larger ROP research team.
· Prepare, summarize and present study findings at research lab meetings.
· Prepare abstracts and presentations for scientific meetings.
· Prepare manuscripts for publication.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Completion of an Associate's degree
Experience
Work requires a minimum of two years of relevant research experience. Completionof the DOCR North Carolina state approved Clinical Research Apprenticeship program may substitute for one year of required experience.

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $59,829.00 to USD $99,960.00.
